Join ANV on a docent-led tour of one of our local treasures, the National Cathedral, in Washington, DC. The tour includes an in-depth tour of the Cathedral followed by a traditional English tea with sandwiches, scones, sweets, and hot tea along with a scenic view of Washington. The tour begins at 1:30 pm on the main level of the Cathedral (the Nave) and tea follows at 2:45 pm in the Pilgrim Observation Gallery.
While you are at the Cathedral, you are encouraged to view the Earthquake exhibit on the same floor as the tea room and the Bishop’s Garden, located on the south side of the Cathedral. You can view the garden from above while on the 7th floor. Tea attire: Smart/Tourist Casual. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
The cost of the tour and tea is $30 per person. Space is limited to 15 persons so please RSVP no later than May 5. When you RSVP for this event, you are agreeing to pay $30 per person, as ANV must reserve the seats on a non-refundable basis. We ask you to pre-pay your reservation. To reserve your spot, payment must be received by May 15, either by check or online payment. If you are paying by check, please write “National Cathedral” on the envelope and also on the memo line of the check.
