According to the CDC one in three adults 65 and older fall each year. Falls are the leading cause of fatal injuries in this age group. Staying Active & Independent for Life (SAIL) is a 12-week strength, balance, and fall prevention program specially designed for adults 65 and over. The goal of this program is to increase leg strength while improving balance through regular exercise. If you think you may be interested in participating in the full program, you need to join our ANV trainers for an orientation meeting. There you will learn about SAIL and how the exercises can be performed sitting or standing. The twice a week sessions will begin on Thursday, September 28.
