“Leonard Bernstein at 100” Exhibit

10/25/2017 @ 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Kennedy Center

The Kennedy Center, Foggy Bottom Metro Stop (Orange, Blue and Silver lines) is the closest stop to the Kennedy Center. From there, it’s a short walk to the Kennedy Center or use the daily, free shuttles that depart every 15 minutes from the Foggy Bottom Metro (signs are towards the left as you exit the escalator.) Meet at 1:45 pm at the entrance to the Terrace Gallery.

ANV Member and Volunteer, Florence Jue, will lead us through “Leonard Bernstein at 100,” a celebration and comprehensive retrospective of the noted composer, performer, and conductor. More than 100 artifacts are on display at the Kennedy Center for a limited time – such as Bernstein’s batons, handwritten scores for songs, costumes, home movies, and films. Florence has served as a docent for this exhibit.

Please RSVP by October 24. You may RSVP by replying to this email at register@arlnvil.org or by calling the Office at 703-509-8057. Please be sure to include the name of the event and name of each attendee with their email and/or phone number. Free, open to everyone.
