At its most simple, practicing mindfulness is being present to the current moment. There are proven mental and physical health and wellness benefits related to mindfulness practice. Dwight Rodgers, Coordinator of Encore Learning’s Mindfulness Club, will talk about meditation and various approaches to being present (sometimes described as “being aware”), and about the health and wellness benefits associated with being mindful.
