National Geographic Tour of Tomb of Christ and Titanic Exhibits
Nov 27 @ 10:30 am – 12:30 pm

oin us for our own private guided tour of the Tomb of Christ exhibit followed by a self-guided walk through the exhibit which tells the remarkable story behind the discovery of the Titanic. We will be virtually transported to Jerusalem to discover the fascinating history and enduring mysteries of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. We will also learn about the historic restoration of this important religious site featured in National Geographic’s magazine and channel. Continue the visit with the discovery of a surprising link between a top secret Cold War mission and the 1985 underwater exploration of the sunken Titanic. The Titanic exhibit includes images and artifacts from the luxurious ocean liner. This may be your last chance to see these two popular exhibits as both will close at the end of the year.

We will meet in the National Geographic Headquarters lobby located at 1145 17th St., NW, Washington, DC (map). Limited street parking is available, but walking (3 blocks) or taxi from the Farragut West Metro Station (Blue, Orange or Silver lines) is highly recommended. Cost is $10.00 per person for our group. Deadline to sign up is November 12th. Payment made to ANV is required before November 12th to confirm your participation.
